Research Description It looked into the educ'l profile of respondents, reasons for pursuing a maritime course, reasons for choosing MAAP as their educ'l institution, etc.
Research Objectives Identified the strengths & opportunities, as well as weaknesses & threats for the advancement of maritime education & training, among others.
Research Beneficiary(ies) Maritime schools, industry associations, training centers, government agencies.
Research Accoplishments Yielded provisions, among others, for a stricter policy in providing recognition to MET institutions must be imposed, & that quality rather than quantity be strictly imposed to ensure branded maritime seafarers of the global maritime industry.
